This made me laugh out loud: ‘There are two kinds of people: the silly, shy, helpless people who won’t stand up for themselves; and the BRILLIANT BRAVE POWERFUL few who will take this BOLD RISK and pay me money!!!!!’

I never knew there was such a huge industry for e-books and courses until I signed up for a couple seemingly harmless blogs, and suddenly I was inundated with information and hard sells. I’ve now unsubscribed from most of them, though I also follow Tom’s work. I still get his emails and highlight nearly everything he writes because I agree that he’s genuinely trying to offer assistance to other writers. And there are some great bloggers out there who are just trying to help fellow writers be successful! But you really have to cut through a lot of junk to find them.
