That’s awesome! I definitely feel each person needs to have a “why” for their work in order to feel fulfilled, and it’s just a matter of finding out what that is. I’ve been so focused on just cranking out pieces that I haven’t really taken the time to explore what impact I want my work to have or how my writing can connect to something larger. That’s great that you know your purpose, though. I’m sure it makes it easier to know which pieces deserve your attention and which aren’t fitting into your overall mission.
