Thanks, Jun. I had a love/hate relationship with Medium for a long time and I think it’s because I felt pressure to focus on the numbers rather than the writing. Once I realized that I, personally, don’t get any joy out of that, I learned to focus on just the craft. And now I really like publishing here. Without Medium, I never would have the confidence to submit my work elsewhere, so I owe a lot to this platform.

And I think what you’ve done — trying different forms of writing in various categories — is incredible, and shows how you’ve used Medium to your advantage. Just goes to show we’re all on different paths and no way is better than the other.
