Thanks, Chris. We have had the conversation about good touch vs bad touch, etc, though we need to reinforce it. (A couple weeks ago the kids at camp were supposed to change to go to the pool; instead of going to the bathroom to change in private, my 5-year-old son dropped his pants — underwear and all — in front of 100 other kids, some as old as 12. The notion of privacy didn’t even cross his mind.) I have some age-appropriate books to share with him on being cautious with strangers, private body parts, and other such topics. We’ll continue to talk to him about these issues as he gets older.
