It was so funny to see Watervliet mentioned in your piece. I just drove from Latham to Troy today and had to drive right through Watervliet.

I know what you mean about feeling destiny in your heart. I grew up in Boston and longed for California long before I ever even visited. I never know if I’d make it out there, but one day I made the move, and it was there that I met my husband, got married, had my son, and started my career. I don’t miss living in California, but it will always have a place in my heart.

And yes, the weather has been very hot, humid, and rainy. But I’ll take this over mid-February sub-zero temps any day!
