I really appreciate this post (though it makes me nervous). I’m leaning toward transitioning to writing full-time and I do worry about the isolation and nonstop hours (not to mention the potential for making little money). I can’t decide if I should pursue my passion or stick with security in a career I’m not really happy with anymore. Thanks for providing your take on things.
