I love this idea. I’ve heard so many times that writers/bloggers have to have a niche. If you don’t have a niche, you can’t be successful. That has stressed me out because I want to write about various topics and don’t want to pigeonhole myself into one specific area. I like the idea of having an umbrella, though. It provides focus but still allows for wiggle room to write in various areas.
