I agree. Work anniversary messages are odd, especially since you never know if someone likes their job. You may as well be saying, “Congrats on still being in that job you’ve hated for five years! Too bad you haven’t found something else!” I also hate any form of communication that tries to finish my message for me, as if I’ve forgotten how to write. Even Gmail wants to offer suggestions, which is insulting. I think I can figure out how to finish my own email…
