Great post and great message. I’m not obsessed with the money, but with the stats. I’m obsessed with my numbers (claps / readers / followers), which is even worse than obsessing over money. (At least you can pay the bills with money.) I definitely need to get back to my reason for wanting to write in the first place because if I just pursue stats I’m going to be burnt out by this writing career before it even gets off the ground.
