As someone who was raised in a family that never goes anywhere (literally, I have relatives who haven’t left the state of Massachusetts...ever) I’m fascinated by your family’s ability to just leave. And not hold grudges when someone decides it’s time to move on.

I’m one of the few people in my family who left home and moved cross-country and I’m hopeful that when my son is old enough, our relationship will be secure enough that he can move where he chooses without any concerns. Though I would like more than a day’s notice. ;)
