As Carrie Fisher said in When Harry Met Sally…, “you’re right, you’re right. I know you’re right.” I know I need to keep my head down, write, and not worry about all the social media noise, but it’s tough. (Especially when I work alone during the day in an empty house, in a city where I don’t know too many people yet. Social media becomes a way to connect with others, even in a very trivial way.) One of my goals for the year is to do more of the writing and less of the promotion.
